The Self Insurers Association of Victoria Inc (SIAV)
represents the interests employers who are
approved as self-insurers by WorkSafe to manage
their own workers compensation claims.
SIAV’s objective is promoting self insurance and
supporting our members to achieve the best
outcomes in injury management, claims
management and occupational health and safety.

SIAV is a major stakeholder in the workers compensation and occupational health and safety environment in Victoria. We understand and represent our members’ interests in many forums and with numerous stakeholders.
NETWORKING
Membership offers many opportunities to network with specialists in the field – sharing ideas, challenges, brainstorming solutions and developing our capability together.
TRAINING AND EDUCATION
SIAV co-ordinates many training and education opportunities including our regular General Meetings where guest speakers present on topical issues; as well as access to resources, industry subscriptions and member discounts.
MEMBER DRIVEN
To effectively represent our members, we regularly seek feedback to identify areas of concerns, new and emerging trends and issues as well as training needs; and work through solutions.
